Journey from Delta to Bucovina

Bucovina in North East Romania is an area known for its beautiful frescoed monasteries. it quite a way from Tulcea, through some of the poorer parts of Romania and some quite big cities.

Then we had to stay overnight in Bacau, at Pensiunea Elite, a comfortable and , thankfully, air conditioned family run Pension, where they greeted us with plum cake and a glass of wine and then drove us to where we wanted to go.
